InMotion and Parkinson’s Pals Unite Forces to Improve the Lives of our PD Community!

Dear Northeast Ohio PD Community,

InMotion and Parkinson’s Pals have come together to build awareness about PD.

We are combining our efforts to help improve the lives of those living with Parkinson’s disease!

InMotion and Pals serve the PD community with a united vision. Whether through highly targeted programming or in hosting successful fundraising events, our goal is the same: help improve the lives of those living with PD. Community support plays a large role in both of our organizations and it shows!

Inspiration, laughter, emotional support, resilience, and the strengthening of mind, body, and spirit are witnessed every day at InMotion. In order to continue to grow InMotion programs, and keep them free of charge to our community, ongoing research, evaluation, and outreach are needed—all actions supported by Pals ongoing fundraising initiatives.

Consider the following:

  • Approximately 35,000 people in NE Ohio are living with PD, a disease that deeply impacts careparnters, family, and friends.
  • Thanks to increasingly accurate diagnostic methods, we now understand that PD affects multiple age groups, is progressive in nature, and its symptoms are decreased by participation in exercise and support services.
  • PD has no known cure. To find a cure, consistent ongoing research is necessary.
  • The PD community is growing and needs new program development and PD focused support networks.

Together with your help, InMotion and Parkinson’s Pals can help build a brighter tomorrow for those we serve.

For now, we invite you to join with us on Sunday, September 17th, 2017!

“Pals in Motion,” is a family-friendly fitness event to improve the lives of those living with Parkinson’s disease.
