Jim has an over 35-year career in Information Technology management and consulting in several different industries and assignments. Most recently Jim was the IT Director for the Cleveland Foundation for 15 years. His education background includes a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Penn State University. Jim participates regularly in the Power BED class.
Having close family ties to Parkinson’s, Dan was a founder of the Parkinson’s Pals organization. He is a senior director of Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Michigan and is a member of the CCIM Institute.
Inspired after a visit to InMotion, Fred is eager to bring his expertise in fundraising to help us continue to grow and realize our vision of improving the quality of life of everyone touched by InMotion. He holds an MBA in Finance and spent 44 years of his professional career in the life insurance business. During that time he served as Chair and President for several business associations including NY Life Agents and Cleveland Association of Life Underwriters.
When a member of her family was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s, Sheila knew she had to do something. She began volunteering at InMotion upon her retirement three years ago. Her volunteer experience includes working with the InMotion yoga group and greeting clients as they arrive for BED class. She is thankful for the opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of those with Parkinson’s disease. In 2011, two of Sheila’s daughters, along with a close friend, started Parkinson’s Pals. Sheila has been married to her high school sweetheart, Billy, for 56 years.
Ken has a passion for InMotion’s mission. He serves as Chairman of the Board and President of McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal & Liffman Co., L.P.A. He is very involved in the community and brings his legal expertise and enthusiasm for fundraising to the InMotion board. Ken received his B.S. from Miami University in Finance (1976) and graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (Magna Cum Laude). He and his wife, Gail, have been married since 1978, and have two daughters and two grandchildren.
Judy Peters has been a nonprofit executive for 30 years. After her Parkinson’s disease diagnosis, she joined the board of InMotion in 2013 and recently held the position of Interim Executive Director. Peters received her MPH from the University of Pittsburgh, her undergraduate degree from Kent State University and her nursing degree from Aultman Hospital.
Adam was a member of the Parkinson’s Pals board and joined our board following the recent merger between the two organizations. Over the last 10 years, Adam has delivered corporate real estate portfolio management, tenant representation, and real estate consulting services to a variety of local, national, and global organizations. He earned his B.S. in Journalism from The University of Kansas and is a licensed real estate sales associate in the State of Ohio.
