Living In Motion is an event designed for people living with Parkinson’s disease to explore the importance of exercise and discover valuable community resources..
 
Presented by InMotion®, the event features demonstrations of InMotion’s evidence-based wellness programs. Attendees can also learn from professionals in social work, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and nutrition, and receive information about treatment options for Parkinson’s disease. Living In Motion is a great opportunity to empower individuals and families with the knowledge to live well with Parkinson’s.

2025 Event schedule (subject to change):

  • 9:00am – Doors Open
  • 9:40am – Welcome from Cathe Schwartz, InMotion® CEO and Ben Rossi, InMotion® Co-Founder and Chief Program Officer
  • 9:45am – Keynote Presentation – Dr. Jori Fleisher
  • 10:30-10:45am – Q&A with Dr. Fleisher
  • 10:45am – Explore Resource Tables and Tours of InMotion®. 
    • InMotion® staff members will be on hand to register new clients.

Keynote Speaker

Jori Fleisher, MD MSCE FAAN is a movement disorders neurologist and Associate Professor of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center. She co-directs the Rush Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence and leads the Rush Advanced Interdisciplinary Movement Disorders Supportive Care (AIMS) Clinic, CurePSP Center of Care, and Lewy Body Dementia Association Research Center of Excellence. Dr. Fleisher completed her neurology, global health equities, movement disorders, and epidemiology training at the University of Pennsylvania. She is an internationally recognized speaker partnering with Parkinson’s Foundation, Davis Phinney Foundation, Lewy Body Dementia Association, and CurePSP, has mentored over 25 trainees, and is a proud Clevelander, mom, and believer in the power of movement as medicine.
