Cycling provides a range of benefits for those with movement disorders. Research conducted by Dr. Jay Alberts of the Cleveland Clinic, promoted through his Pedaling for Parkinson’s project, has shown that clients experience a reduction in symptoms of Parkinson’s after completing an eight-week cycling program, including a decrease in tremors and improvement in handwriting.
